Fantasy Grand Strategy Game
How To Play:
Navigation & Camera:
- Pan: Use the WASD keys or move your mouse cursor near the screen edges to pan the camera across the map. You can also hold the right mouse button and drag to move the camera quickly.
- Zoom: Scroll the mouse wheel to zoom in and out. As you zoom in, the camera tilts to give you a more detailed view of provinces; zoom out for a broader strategic overview.
Province Interaction:
- Select a Province: Left-click on any province to see its details—tax, production, and manpower—displayed in an information panel at the top left of the screen.
- Building New Units: Within the province management panel, click the "Build Units" button to recruit new soldiers using your available resources, thereby strengthening your country's military capacity. Each unit costs 10 gold and 1000 manpower.
Army Control:
- Single-Click Selection: Left-click on an army unit (they’re tagged “Army”) to select it. The selected army will display a selection indicator.
- Multi-Selection: Click and drag your mouse to draw a selection box over multiple armies. Armies within the box will be selected simultaneously.
- Moving Armies: With one or more armies selected, right-click on a target province. All selected armies will calculate a path and move toward that province.
- Merging Armies: When two or more of your armies are on the same province, a merge button appears on the UI. Click this button to combine your smaller armies into one larger, more powerful force.
- Fighting with Enemy Armies: Select your own armies and right-click on a province that houses an enemy army to initiate combat. Your units will automatically engage, triggering battle animations and determining the outcome based on the number of troops (bigger army always wins in this iteration).
Additional Controls:
- Pause Time: Press the Space bar or click the pause button on the time panel to halt in-game time.
- Adjust Time Speed: Use the provided UI buttons to cycle through five speed options, allowing you to slow down or speed up time as needed for strategic planning.
